WHAT IS THIS NEWSLETTER?
A means of connecting a community of economically active, socially aware people who like a good time and who are into a wide range of activities. It's an alternative directory of resources and "what's happening", primarily
focused on the greater CT area. Age range is broad as are socio-economic groupings.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT (CONTENT)?
A socially aware, mostly non-commercial and friendly forum / space to share or search for art and entertainment, expertise, accommodation, bargains, etc. with like-minded people, presented in a no frills, readable format.

WHO PLACES NOTICES IN IT?
Small / alternative businesses, performing artists, NGO's, charities, startups and individuals without big marketing budgets wanting to target like-minded people, mostly in Cape Town. Foreign visitors in S.A. looking to find accommodation and "connect" with Capetonians.

WHY DO ADVERTISERS GET SUCH GOOD RESULTS?
They reach a very localised, focussed and specific base of like-minded people.

SOME SUBSCRIBER COMMENTS:

* This is my one stop entertainment guide which knows exactly what my interests are...its like somebody has gone out and filtered all the stuff that I enjoy and summarised it into a cool and funky format... As a matter of fact I send this on to friends all over the world so that they can see what real Cape Town is all about... The newsletter for me represents the unique nature of Capetonians, the interests they have and how they spend their free time, says a lot about them.....A funky, cool, informative, proactive, event planner that has grown from strength to strength.....

* A means of connecting a 'community of interest'. an alternative directory of resources and whats happening primarily focussed on greater CT area and a distraction from work & other things I should be doing!

* Hi Sean, just a little feedback. I am not sure how aware you are of the masses your emails reach: sometimes it seems more people read them than the Cape Argus. Making our little global village more accessible. THANKS AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
